WHERE:

SAGONTO is located on Red Pine Island on BIG SAGANAGA LAKE (Sag Lake), Ontario, CANADA. Saganaga Lake is a border lake shared by the United States and Canada. Saganaga Lake (pronounced Sag-gan-ah-gá) is a trophy fishing lake for walleye, northern pike, lake trout, whitefish and small-mouth bass.

SAGONTO is a rustic wilderness resort, just over the Minnesota border.



WHEN:

Year round lodging!
Spring opening fishing season, the third Saturday in May, through the end of September. Winter accommodations: Sleeping bags are required as bed linens are difficult to wash
during the freezing months. Please email for current ice conditions.

FOR RENEWALS: All that is required is the brief application submitted along with the credit card number and signature (No ID documentation necessary).

FOR NEW PERMITS:
Two pieces of ID documentation are ecessary for each person listed on permit.
